2019 Travel Gift Guide

Looking for gifts for the travel lovers in your life? You’ve come to the right place.

Shopping for travelers is tough. We’ve gotta be selective with the things we carry with us when traveling and, let’s be honest, there are a lot of tacky travel themed things out there. But worry no more, we have scoured the depths of the internet to find the perfect gifts for the travel lovers in your life (even if that’s you)!

Matching Passport Holder & Luggage Tag

Even if everything I travel with is old, mismatched, dirty, and literally falling apart (which is often how is it), nothing makes me feel more put together than a matching passport holder and luggage tag. We adore these handmade, customizable passport covers and luggage tags from Always Rooney!

Sonder Bundle - Edition 2

Okay so we might be a little biased, but the Sonder Bundle - Edition 2 is the perfect gift for travel lovers of all kinds! The bundle includes a copy of Sonder Edition 2 - a travel magazine heaven-bent on transporting you around the world and back - a 2020 calendar - which is filled with beautiful photos from all over the world that are guaranteed to inspire wanderlust - and weatherproof travel-inspired sticker. Valued at $33.00 but priced at $25.00, it the biggest bang for your buck and is guaranteed to be a smash hit!

Foldable Bags

Carrying things that fold down into smaller sizes makes packing so much easier. My LOVE reusable backpack has made a guest appearance on all my trips, functioning as a grocery bag, an overnight bag, a beach bag, and as a typical carry-to-school backpack. These bags are affordable, durable, and are made from recycled water bottles!

Multi-Use Soap & Bag

Dr. Bronner’s pure-castile soap has saved my life so many times while traveling. It can be used for everything from washing your hair to washing your dishes and is available in both bar and liquid form (although I prefer the bar while traveling to save space in my liquids bag). And of course you’ll need something to carry the soap in. We love these handmade Eko Soap Bags from Savonnerie Des Diligences on Etsy!

Let The Good Times Roll Face & Body Cleanser

On the note of skincare, my favorite product of the year (for travel and just for everyday life) is this Let The Good Times Roll face and body cleanser from Lush. I can’t even begin to explain how good this cleanser with maize flour, cinnamon, gardenia, and popcorn (yes, popcorn) smells and it’s super moisturizing and exfoliating. It’s great for travelling because it’s not liquid and won’t spill out into luggage and you can gift it in full size OR request a free sample of it with another purchase and gift the smaller travel size sample. And the best part? It’s vegan, not tested on animals, and the packaging is recycled and recyclable (thanks Lush!)

City Map Print

We’ve all got the one place that we love a little more than the others: the city we’ve always dreamed of visiting or the one we always dream about going back to. What better way to warm the heart of your loved one than with a beautiful print with a map of their favorite place in the world? Mapologist is a print shop on Etsy who sells prints of cities all over the world, plus they have customizable options if you want to add a more personal touch!
